Moorsweb Standard Membership

Moorsweb's  standard service since 2006 has been a 2mbps (2 meg) service with no data cap,  and several of our upgrades have been aimed at achieving that standard as we have struggled to achieve that in recent years,  particularly as demands for data  have grown due to more members using the internet for more services.

Now we can confidently achieve 2mbps as standard even at busy times with the advent of the fibre backhaul at Gillamoor school and the most recent network upgrade.  We can achieve that in all areas of the network except Rosedale (which we hope to update soon)

However due to increasing ever increasing demands for data and teh increasing costs of backhaul,  we have to limit the data useage to 2GB per month.   About 80% of our memebrship use under 2GB of data per month.

The standard service will continue to cost £18 per month inc VAT

Moorsweb Enhanced Membership

Moorsweb Members have regularly asked for more speed and data,  and we can now offer this service in all areas except Rosedale

Members can now have a 4mbps (actual,  not "up to") service with 5GB of data per month,  which will cost £22 per month inc VAT.

Moorsweb Premium Mmbership

Finally,  for members who really need more speed and data,  we can confidently offer Moorsweb premium membership of 6mbps  and 10GB of data.  Again,  this is 6mbps actual speed,  not "up to" as so often advertised.
